Let me catch you up to speed on what's up with this. Basically I am working on a project for a client. The project is a advertisement video in after effects. I will post the finish project if I am not to embarrassed with it. Anyway this is a render of the 3D model I made in Maya, which I have to state this is my first time using Maya.



I apologize for the green outline on the bottom one. Need to fix it.

I really like it. The bottom portion of it looks really realistic. Particularly the bottom right side.

Yeah, I am really proud of it. I need to make three more little can things and then I am going to turn it into an ad with after affects

It's okay, just looks odd and fake in my opinion. At least put some grooves in the bottle cap. I've meddled in 3D art briefly before, but it was in 3D Studio Max, and that was years ago, so I'm not sure what to tell you.
