Only pros use those fonts. They are for signatures, btw. If you're into web design, I guarantee they won't look good on anything, really.. :/ Except maybe Caviar.

They don't look too hot on signatures either.

When using fonts always aim for simplicity, not ornamental.

I use a lot of them in my signatures, they look fine.

It seems like how it works now since companies are looking for fine artist then amazing.

Bland fonts don't look amazing, they look bland. Fonts such as Verdana, CS are overused. I'm giving you a set of nice free fonts, none of you should be complaining. Take it or leave it, the criticism is getting annoying.

They aren't bland, they are simple and easy to read. Wacky decorative fonts are ugly. Also, what the hell is a CS? There is a reason Verdana is the dominant font on the web. It looks good and is really one of the only standardized fonts across the web. Criticism is part of design and it always will be. If you take a shit on the Internet and someone tells you it looks good you'll continue making things like that and never get any better. There is a point in my content hounding on other people's work.

Break out of your design box and use a font that looks crazy for once.

It honestly really depends on the project.

Yes, you can use simple fonts on every design but certain designs work with different fonts.

Such as MX Hair Care, a client of mine I am using the font, Faith Collapsing.

Matches with the MX scene well. Only problem now is I need to get a hold of that artist to see if he will let me use the font commercially.

In responce to both Ronin and virtuosity, crazy never really looks good. There are times to use slightly decorative fonts for logos and whatnot, but they must still be styled properly and look nice.

That Faith Collapsing font is an prime example of over-decorative fonts. If used considerably and loosely, it could fit into sort of an old 1800's style design, but I wouldn't recommend it for a hair care product...

Also, another interesting fact. People by nature like calm, simple fonts. They are pleasing to look at and do not offend they eye and over complicate reading.

One more thing, no one is allowed to say "Comic Sans" anymore.
